Fair conditions are a basic requirement. That is why we work with certifications that protect both farmers and makers. Fairtrade supports farmers with a fairer price and a premium for local projects. SA8000 focuses on working conditions in factories, such as safety, working hours, wages, the prohibition of child labor, and the prevention of discrimination. This is how we make transparency and responsibility concrete.
What does the GOTS certificate mean?
GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard and is recognized worldwide as one of the strictest standards for organic textiles. The certificate goes beyond just organically grown cotton. GOTS also sets requirements for every step thereafter, such as processing, dyeing, and washing, as well as social conditions in the production chain.
